Feel what it's like to actually fly
Not behind glass. Not in a cabin. In the open air, 1,000 feet above the North Shore, with nothing between you and the Pacific but warm trade winds. The gyroplane is the closest thing to pure flight you'll find on Oahu — one passenger, one pilot, and the island unfolding beneath you.
You hear the surf. You feel the temperature shift over water. You smell the salt air and plumeria carried in the breeze. This isn't sightseeing — it's a sensory experience that stays with you long after you land.
Why the gyro
Open Cockpit
Feel the wind vs. looking through windows
No doors, no windows, no cabin walls. The trade winds hit your face from takeoff to landing — this is unfiltered flight.
1,000-Foot Altitude
See the reef vs. see the horizon
Low enough to spot sea turtles, count surfers, and trace coral formations beneath the surface. Every detail is visible.
One Passenger
Your flight, your pace vs. shared experience
Just you and your pilot. The route adjusts in real time to whatever catches your eye — dolphins, surf breaks, hidden coastline.

Common questions
Helicopters fly higher (typically 2,000 feet) and cover more ground in less time, making them ideal for seeing all of Oahu's highlights in one flight. Gyroplanes fly lower (1,000 feet) with an open cockpit, giving you a more intimate, wind-in-your-face experience — it feels less like a tour and more like actually flying. Both offer incredible views, just different perspectives.
A gyroplane (also called an autogyro) is a light aircraft with an open cockpit and an unpowered rotor on top. Unlike a helicopter, the rotor spins freely from airflow rather than being engine-driven, which makes the ride exceptionally smooth and stable. You sit in the rear seat with your pilot in front of you — nothing but a small windshield between you and the sky. Gyroplanes fly lower than helicopters (around 1,000 feet), giving you a more intimate view of coastline, reef formations, and marine life.
